Supertech Eco Village 1 High Rise in Greater Noida West Receives Notice for Unauthorized Construction

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has issued a notice to Supertech Eco Village 1, a high-rise building in Greater Noida West, for carrying out unauthorized construction. The notice, served on August 30, states that the builder has constructed additional towers, E-13 and E-14, without obtaining the necessary approvals from the authority.

The GNIDA has directed the builder to stop all construction activities immediately and submit a response within seven days.

  • Failure to comply with the notice will result in legal action, including the sealing of the construction site.

This is not the first time Supertech has faced legal issues. In the past, the builder has been embroiled in controversies related to unauthorized construction and violation of building norms.

  • In April 2021, the Supreme Court ordered the demolition of two towers, Apex and Ceyane, in Supertech’s Emerald Court project in Noida, citing violation of building bylaws and environmental norms.

The GNIDA has been actively monitoring construction activities in the region to ensure compliance with building norms and regulations. Earlier this year, the authority had issued notices to several other builders in Greater Noida for similar violations.

Residents of Supertech Eco Village 1 have expressed their concerns over the unauthorized construction and are demanding strict action against the builder. They have been facing multiple issues, including poor construction quality, delayed possession, and inadequate maintenance services.

The recent notice to Supertech Eco Village 1 highlights the need for stricter regulations and oversight in the real estate sector to protect the interests of homebuyers.

  • It is essential for authorities to take proactive measures to prevent unauthorized construction and ensure compliance with building norms.
