Kuber Group Director Vikas Malu Summoned for Investigation in Fatal Crash

In a recent development, Vikas Malu, director of the Kuber Group, who sustained injuries in a collision between a Rolls Royce and an oil tanker that resulted in two fatalities, has been issued a notice by the police to participate in the ongoing investigation of the accident, as confirmed by an official on Sunday. The tragic incident, which occurred on the Delhi-Mumbai-Baroda Expressway near Umri village in Haryana on a Tuesday afternoon, claimed the lives of the oil tanker’s driver and his helper, while injuring the three passengers in the car, including Malu.

A senior police officer revealed that Malu has been formally requested to contribute to the investigation.

  • Initial assessments indicated that the oil tanker was traveling on the wrong side of the road when it collided with the luxury vehicle near Umri village, within the jurisdiction of the Nagina police station.
  • However, the FIR filed on the day of the accident contradicts this, stating that the car approached from behind and struck the front tire of the oil tanker, causing it to overturn.

The police, who had previously stated that Malu was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Gurugram, confirmed that his statement would be recorded once he is discharged.
