Bengaluru Police Arrests Youth for Moral Policing Incident

In a recent incident of moral policing, the Bengaluru police have arrested a man named Zakir, who accosted a woman for traveling with a Hindu colleague. The complaint was filed on August 26, and the arrest was made within 24 hours by the Cyber Economic and Narcotics police, as confirmed by DCP East Bheemashankar S Guled.

The victim, in her complaint, mentioned that the incident occurred three days prior when she was returning from work with a colleague on a bike. Zakir waylaid them and verbally abused the victim, as stated by Guled.

This incident highlights the ongoing issue of moral policing that continues to plague society. It is crucial for law enforcement agencies to take swift action in such cases to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens.
